Hi everyone!
The regular March newsletter will follow next week, but this email is to give formal notice of the Dulwich Park Runners AGM which will take place at 8pm on 26th March at the Crown and Greyhound pub in Dulwich Village. The agenda and reports will be circulated in advance of the meeting. All members are invited to attend and have their say on club matters as well as vote in new members of the Committee, receive the club’s Committee report and financial statement, and agree the subscription fees for the coming year.
Any other items for the agenda should be sent to the Club Secretary, Emma Pond, (secretary@dulwichparkrunners. co.uk) by Saturday 16 March 2024 to be sure of inclusion. Minor items of any other business will be allowed on the day at the discretion of the Chair depending on the time available.
We will also vote in the Committee for 2024/25. Members are encouraged to stand for any role they may be interested in – as a growing club, we need committee members to help the club offer as much as possible to our membership. Please speak to one of the current committee members if you would like further details about the committee posts. Further details will also be set out in the newsletter.
Members must be nominated (by one member) and seconded (by another member) if they wish to stand for a committee position. All nominations should be emailed to Emma Pond (secretary@dulwichparkrunners. co.uk) by midnight on Saturday 16 March 2024.
A copy of the agenda and nominations will be emailed to all members and posted on the DPR Facebook page no later than 19 March. We hope that as many members as possible will join us for the AGM and for a mini-social afterwards.
