Dulwich Park Runners May Newsletter
Happy May Everyone!
The warm weather is very welcome and has spurred members onto some amazing runs!
Alice ran a super time at the Copenhagen Marathon on 5 May. Anton tackled the Brecon Beacons Marathon on 4 May – just a little elevation there! Darren ran the Newcastle Gateshead marathon last weekend. Charlie ran the Leeds half marathon in warm weather this weekend (pic below). Gary S bravely took on the 53 miles of the West Highland Way at the end of April. Congratulations to them all!
Our beginners graduated, with many thanks to everyone who supported them and we welcome them on our regular Tuesday and Sunday runs now!
And with thanks to Chris, we began the hotly contested Parkrun Ladder contest with a massive turnout and a sea of green and white in last weekend’s run.
We also had some beautiful runs in the parks, especially enjoying Peckham’s wisteria!

Please help us shape the future of DPR Sunday Social Runs!
We have 3 very simple and very quick questions, that we would like all club members to answer – in order to help us understand more about what club members may want from our Sunday runs!
Please note even if you do not wish to ever take part on Sundays – your insights and reflections are still very important in helping shape the future of this part of the clubs identity and output.
So regardless of how much you currently do or do not take part in the Sunday Social Runs, we really want to hear from all of you – so please click here! https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=1BEf3hSVU0uubx8YbGDv-9craNOFYOxKmeIt726pPU9UNFhZWFBBMTZXMU84QlBKODhQQlI2MElYWC4u
